I've re-edited The “Compressions”, a series of digital images derived from one of my first sequences of animations and Plexiglass-paintings I made in a wide range production from 1997 to 2001.
The new paintings (are not stills from the animation) are characterized from a constant study on the shape, geometric and often essential, joined to a three-dimensional and dynamic vision of the virtual space, where synthetic shapes become design, structure, architecture and reality.
The images are digital manipulation of rockets I turned into synthetic-basic architectures titled by me: “compressions-containers”. Through the manipulation I proposed, the rockets disappear in straight lines and points, reappearing under the guise of defused bombs, because transformed into architectures. |

“Wag displacement map”, is a unique video sculpture (realized 2014) of the monthly Widget Art Gallery exhibition during February 2012. It's made using a 3-D printed ABS-plastic and a digital video frame 8’. High 22 cm. Width 16 cm. Depth 7 cm. WAG main page here.
Every month the wag hosts a solo show related to its dynamic site-specific context. So, the idea is to sell in various virtual auctions (using ebay), some unique video sculptures, as unique pieces of the “exhibition of the month”. The video-sculptures are made by the always-different wag sculptural environment and by its exclusive digital artwork hosted inside a video device. |

"Live sculpture" 2011. Software-art piece. It runs only on Mac-OSX, from Leopard to the latest version. This software-artwork could be considered a unique piece. Although it is digital and reproducible, it appears different every time thanks to the specators' ever-changing subjectivity. "Live sculpture" restores the aura of digital artwork and solves the issue related to the multiple in art. It's a multiple but always a different one. |
